On page 204 of the book (chapter 15 for Kindle readers), the email service Privacy Harbor is listed as one of the recommended secure mail services. Unfortunately, the service closed down and is no longer available.

Protect your webmail account – especially when using public WiFi connections (airports, cafes, etc) – by enabling a secure connection (SSL) in your webmail settings.  You can confirm a secure connection is enabled for your webmail by noting  whether the web address starts with HTTPS (note the ‘s’) as in https://webmail.example.com/
