What Happened to ComicK?
In September 2025, when it was possibly the biggest manga site on the web, Comick went down completely, just like that, without warning.
The creator later provided more info in a Reddit post, explaining that their lack of site security allowed publishers to get a hold of their real identity. It’s assumed that they used threats of legal action to force them to take the site offline.
Best ComicK Alternatives
While it’ll be hard to replicate Comick’s mix of excellent UI and massive library, there are a handful of alternatives that can at least attempt to fill the void left by Comick’s fall.
Comix: Popular ComicK Alternative
Comix, which is run by the folks behind popular anime streaming site AnimeKai, has a familiar name and UI going for it. That being said, its library is currently English-only, so if you’re looking to replicate Comick’s extensive language support, you may want to try the next entry on the list.
MangaBall: Most Similar ComicK Alternative
If your ideal Comick alternative has a huge library and tons of languages, then MangaBall may be for you. Since the fall of Comick and Bato, it’s currently leading the pack in those areas.
Weeb Central
You may have known it as MangaSee or Manga4Life, but it’s back with a new name: Weeb Central. But it wasn’t just the name that was updated, they redid the whole UI too.
